Hope in His unfailing love…

03 Mar

Lille and Eva have been living the dream as they can walk up the street to the Kids International Ministry children’s home. During the day the older kids are at school, but the nursery is always in need of someone to help hold babies. Love!!!

In addition to the Children’s Home, KIM also has Adonai Haven of Hope which is a home that works with women in crisis pregnancy situations and gives them a safe place to live. The home help women that are scared, ashamed or in hiding by sharing with them the Hope that is found in Jesus.

KIM also opened the Hope Alive Pregnancy Center. Hope Alive cares for the nutritional needs and care for pregnant women in the impoverished community that the children home is located in. They see over 90 women a week and are expanding the clinic to have deliveries.  There is a baby due to arrive any minute now!

The babies at the children’s home are here for a variety of reasons. Some have been abandoned, some have been found in the garbage, some have been given until the mother can make enough money to support the child, and some are given up with the hope of a better life for them.

The heart of leadership here is to care for these children, providing for them physically and spiritually until they can be adopted into a “forever home”.  KIM works with adoption agencies throughout the world to facilitate the children being adopted.

Jesus commands in the Bible to “care for the least of these”.  As I hold Ella Faith, born just 2 weeks ago, I have prayed that others would be stirred to step up and love, care and raise her to know Jesus and the circle of redemption will be evident.

“The eyes of The Lord are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, to deliver them from death and famine. We wait in hope for The Lord; he is our help and shield. In him out hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. May your unfailing love rest upon us, O Lord, as we put our HOPE in you.”  Psalm 33:18-22
