Wondering what the Williams family has been up to since our return from Southeast Asia? We have been busy! Since our return, we have had 22 speaking venues to share about The Yada Project and how God is at work in the world. It has been exciting to see others get informed and engage in some discussions about how to make a difference. We are currently working with 2 students to help them set up a location to volunteer for a few months with a few of our partnerships. #getinvolved
We have had deliveries to our doorstep from all parts of the world with purses, t-shirts, coffee, mangos…it has been like Christmas with boxes arriving to build our inventory of products for our website launch on July 15. Yes, you read that correct…JULY 15 will have TheYadaProject.com ready for online sales of really cool stuff from around the world. One of the shipments has come from a partnership that works with women that make handmade purses. We got a photo this week of 7 children in their NEW school uniforms. Through the sales of the purses these women have made, their children are now attending school for the first time. #makingadifference
We also have been preparing for a large event…LIFEST. Lifest is a large festival that has over 10,000 people in attendance. The Yada Project will be having a booth and selling products from our partnerships. We are thrilled it is all coming together! We look forward to meeting new people and invite others to join us in what we are doing. #raisingawareness
And life hasn’t been only about The Yada Project. Our family enjoyed soccer this Spring, some sailing and cherishing the times we have to just hang out at home.
Williams de la Roca (Don’s woodworking business) has been booming with projects from remodeled kitchens to entertainment centers to custom desks…Don has been busy using his woodworking talents.
We are enjoying life, but also keenly aware that we can do none of this on our own strength. Please pray we can balance life, family, work and The Yada Project!
